The BRIEF:
Discover Ireland aimed to promote a key region within Ireland to increase awareness and encourage tourism. The region selected is part of
Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands - Cavan & Leitrim.
The STRATEGY:
I was tasked to create 2 pieces of content completely in my style. I chose to create a 3-day road trip Itinerary to Cavan & Leitrim, as well as highlight one key activity (kayaking) within the region to achieve the same outcome: encourage tourism within the region and increase awareness of activities & amenities there.
The 3 day road trip itinerary video is a faster paced and captivating highlight reel of all of my favourite moments from the trip. It is a combination of camera work, phone, GoPro and drone footage.
The key activity video is a much slower, more in-depth guide to a specific chosen activity (kayaking through the lakelands) which provides the audience a valuable piece they can use to plan their future trips or send to friends/family who are planning similar trips.
