DJI X Joshua Nueva - 2024 Case Study

The BRIEF:
DJI launched the next product in their OSMO Pocket series at the end of 2023. The product started to go viral on social media in mid-2024 with lots of creators from a variety of niches creating content showing it’s incredible camera quality while being almost fool-proof and easy-to-use.

I was given full creative control and tasked to create a high quality visual piece of social media content showcasing the product & it’s features.

The STRATEGY:
To ensure I fully capitalised on the ‘low light’ feature of this camera, I travelled to Lille in France to their Christmas Markets. The festive lights, ferris wheels and bustle of the city was the perfect location to play to the OSMO Pocket 3’s strengths. Another piece of content I created for this product went viral on TikTok due to this strategy amassing over 2 million views, over 200,000 likes and thousands of comments.

The key point was maintaining my own style of content creation while integrating the brand’s brief and core values to demonstrate a natural collaboration which encourages the viewer to engage.
